2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use ProFrame, we may collect:
- Contact information: your name, email address and the contents of messages you send us.
- Purchase and subscription information: the product, price, currency, transaction reference, billing status and purchase email supplied by Stripe or another payment provider. We do not receive your full card details.
- Account and entitlement information: details needed to provide downloads, licences, access, updates and support.
- Technical information: IP address, browser type, device and operating-system information, timestamps, diagnostic information and basic server logs.
- Optional cookie information: website visits, checkout activity and purchase events when you accept optional Meta cookies.
3. How and why we use information
We use personal information to:
- perform our contract with you by processing purchases, providing ProFrame, managing access and delivering support;
- comply with legal obligations, including tax, accounting, fraud prevention and responding to lawful requests;
- pursue legitimate interests in securing, maintaining, diagnosing and improving the Service, provided those interests do not override your rights; and
- measure visits, checkout activity and purchases using Meta technologies only where you have given consent.
You can withdraw cookie consent at any time through Cookie Settings. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out lawfully.
6. International transfers
Some providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where required, we rely on an adequacy regulation, approved contractual safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum, or another lawful transfer mechanism. You can contact us for more information about relevant safeguards.
7. How long we keep information
We keep information only for as long as reasonably necessary. Typical periods are:
- contact and support messages: normally up to 24 months after the matter is closed;
- purchase, subscription, tax and accounting records: normally up to 6 years after the relevant transaction or relationship;
- account and entitlement records: while access is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to support refunds, reactivation and disputes;
- security and web-server logs: normally up to 90 days unless required for an investigation; and
- optional Meta cookies and pending checkout data: as described on our Cookie settings page.
We may retain information longer where law, a dispute or an investigation requires it.
8. Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law may give you rights to access, correct, erase or restrict personal information; object to certain processing; receive portable information; and withdraw consent. To exercise a right, email proframe@scmdigital.co.uk. We may need to verify your identity.
You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We would appreciate the opportunity to address your concern first.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures intended to protect personal information. No online system is completely secure, so please do not send passwords, full payment-card details or sensitive information through the contact form.
10. Children
ProFrame is intended for professional and adult users and is not directed at children. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate permission, contact us so we can investigate.
